ENGLISH 1 FOR POLISH SPEAKING
English 1 is a beginner course to teach beginner level vocabulary and grammar and is therefore aimed at people who are complete beginners in English. In this course students learn how to introduce themselves and others, greet people and to be able to participate in very simple conversations. Students will also be able to ask and answer questions regarding the age, nationality, family, time and tell basic information from their daily life such as what day it is or how much something costs. Students read, write and speak and a lot of emphasis is put on speaking skills.
At the end of the course, there is a test to revise and practise everything studied in the course. A book is included in the course. If a student is unsure which level they should attend, they can come to our office at Bolholt 6 and take a look at our books to see which level suits them best.

ENGLISH 2 FOR POLISH SPEAKING
The main aim of the course English 2 is to make students familiar with the two present tenses in English: The Present Simple and Continuous. Students will learn how talk about their daily schedule, habits and plans for the upcoming future using those tenses. Moreover, during the course there is an emphasis on developing speaking skills by learning simple vocabulary and conversations regarding the daily activities, doctors' appointments, placing an order at a restaurant or shopping.
Students listen, write, read and speak English and just like in English 1 we still put a lot of emphasis on speaking skills. In English 3 the students should have the ability to express themselves about basic things in their lives so more complex grammar and vocabulary is explored. We continue developing the students ability to express more complicated opinions along with revising what we have already learned in English 1 and 2. A lot of emphasis is put on the past and future tenses. At the end of the course, there is a test to revise and practise everything studied in the course. A book is included in the course. ICELANDIC 1
Icelandic 1 is a beginner course to teach beginner level vocabulary and grammar and is therefore aimed at people who are complete beginners in Icelandic. In this course students learn how to introduce themselves and others, greet people and to be able to participate in very simple conversations. Students will also be able to express their plans, ask questions and tell basic information from daily life such as what day it is or how much something costs. Students read, write and speak and a lot of emphasis is put on pronounciation and knowing most of the sounds that each letter can produce. At the end of the course, there is a test to revise and practise everything studied in the course. A book is included in the course. ICELANDIC 2
In Icelandic 2 there is big emphasis on revising and building on what was studied in Icelandic 1. Verbs like að þurfa (to need) or að finnast (to think/to find), which improve the ability to express yourself, are taught and we continue to add on more important vocabulary. At the end of the course students should be able to tell others about things in their lives, such as their hobbies or favorite places, along with being able to express their basic opinions, longings and needs. Students listen, write, read and speak Icelandic and just like in Icelandic 1 we still put a lot of emphasis on pronounciation and all the sounds that the Icelandic letters can form. At the end of the course, there is a test to revise and practise everything studied in the course. A book is included in the course. ICELANDIC 3
In Icelandic 3 the student should hafa the ability to express themselves about basic things in their live so more complex grammar and vocabulary is explored. We continue developing the students ability to express more complicated opinions along with revising what we have already learned in Icelandic 1 and 2. A lot of emphasis is put on past tense and students write weekend-reports about what they did every weekend along with other excersises. At the end of the course, there is a test to revise and practise everything studied in the course. A book is included in the course. ICELANDIC 4
In Icelandic 4 a lot of emphasis is put on discussions and the ability to both express your opinions but also provide arguments for said opinions. Students discuss the pros and cons for various topics and express their opinions and arguments. The texts in the book are about practical things like going to the bank or a sale but also aim towards introducing the student to Icelandic culture like proverbs, poems and the Icelandic sagas. The grammar in the course puts a lot of emphasis on the four Icelandic grammatical cases and knowing how to decline the most common types of nouns and knowing when to use each case. The course also keeps revising what was studied in previous courses. At the end of the course, there is a test to revise and practise everything studied in the course. ICELANDIC 5
In Icelandic 5 we keep building on everything we have learned before and a lot of emphasis is put on broadening the vocabulary on a more advanced level. Various topics are covered and they are discussed so students get a change to discuss them in a natural enviroment. At this point discussions will be almost completely in Icelandic. We also continue to explore more complex grammar like both plural nouns and adjectives in all four grammatical cases. At the end of the course, there is a test to revise and practise everything studied in the course. A book is included in the course. ICELANDIC 6
In Icelandic 6 there is no textbook and therefore it is assumed students already know most of the Icelandic grammar and have enough vocabulary to be able to express themselves to some extent about most topics in Icelandic. In Icelandic 6 students choose their own reading material, such as books, stories or news, and then they introduce the material they read to the class. The material is then discussed in a group setting along with discussing the new vocabulary surrounding the material. Icelandic 6 is therefore for students who have already learned most of the grammar but want to practise and use their Icelandic along with broadening their vocabulary.

KOREAN 1 FOR BEGINNERS
Korean 1 is a beginner course to teach 한글 (Hangul, Korean alphabet), beginner level vocabulary, grammar and conversations. This course is aimed at people who are complete beginners in Korean. A booklet is included with the course. The teacher is Yejee Shin from South Korea.

KOREAN 2 ADVANCED
Múltíkúltí offers courses in Korean. The theacher is Yejee Shin. She is from South Korea and she teaches beginners course in Korean as well as advanced. Yejee teaches in English but she is learning Icelandic.

POLISH 1

ÍTALSKA 1
Italian 1 is a beginners' course. The idea is to teach enough vocabulary and grammar in order for
students to communicate basic things, introduce themselves, ask the name of peers, say their names
and nationality, speak about what work they do and what are their hobbies. Some of the course also
focuses on the ability to order food in a café or restaurant, therefore there will also be significant
vocabulary about these topics. During the class there will be reading, listening and speaking exercises
as well as some grammar follow up to do at home. A short booklet is included in the course, the teacher
will also help students to use recorded audio material to practice at home.
